Wild Rice with Peas
















Ingredients:

8 oz package of organic wild rice
3 cups water
1 cup organic green peas
1 tsp epice
2 tbs fresh chopped parsley
1 tbs extra virgin olive oil
salt to taste

Directions:

In a medium sauce pan bring to boil water with epice, parsley, and salt. Rinse rice in a colander under cold running water. Add rice to boiling water. Bring back to a boil. Lower heat and let cook for 45 minutes to an hour. When water is about to dry out, add in green peas. Cover and cook for another 10 minutes. Remove from heat, add oil and fluff. Enjoy!

*Note: when rice is cooked, the grains puff open.
